Excavation shoring to provide temporary falsework utilizing steel and timber platforms to support new concrete placement
Seismic retrofitting for earthquake resiliency
Upgrades to existing bridge structure, including widening the bridge for traffic flow and adding a pedestrian walkway
Highlights:
Re-sequenced project and performed site concrete work at intersections during the major structural work
Implemented vast coordination with the City of Sunnyvale to reconfigure traffic handling and pedestrian routes to ensure safety to the public and site workers
Utilized more than 800,000 pounds of steel as part of the falsework required for the right-side widening, including safe install and removal over the railroad tracks
Successfully placed concrete at retrofit drop caps with zero overhead clearance
Adjusted mix design and methods of placement for best finish possible
Served as the prime contractor overseeing 20 sub-contractors
Self-performed 60 percent of the job; subcontracted 40 percent of the job
Provided efficient coordination and management with the client and sub-contractors
Retrofitted bridge to increase bridge safety, widen it for better traffic flow and provide pedestrian access on the bridge
Utilized advanced technologies, including ErgoArm and Eksoskeleton to increase jobsite safety
