Building an Architecturally Appealing and Functional Pedestrian Bridge
Working closely with the design team and project owner, the Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. team built a Box and Girder pedestrian bridge to connect the buildings across a busy street at the Service Now campus.

Functioned as the general contractor on this project, overseeing most of the construction
Performed multi-scope capabilities, including Grading & Paving, Structural Concrete, Site Concrete, Shotcrete and Bridge Construction (including falsework)
Delivered Virtual Construction services, including BIM Modeling
Managed scheduling, invoicing, coordination and sequencing of scopes
Managed tiered subcontractors, including drilling, reinforcement, post tension, scaffolding, metalwork, aluminum composite panels, drywall and hoisting
Oversaw drillers who provided piles, which are big rods that function as anchors for the foundation to keep the bridge steady
Highlights:
Built a Box and Girder pedestrian bridge to connect buildings at the Service Now campus
Worked closely with Arc Tech, the designer of the bridge, to bring to life the pattern of light decorating the bridge at night
Utilized shotcrete with a white cement mix to ensure that the bridge matches the existing building facade
Ensured the safety of the workers, pedestrians and drivers by securing the construction area while maintaining traffic and pedestrian access on an active road
